My WINK is a free, AI-powered academic support platform, currently in Beta. The Beta runs from October 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026. During the Beta it is free to use, features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable.
My WINK is independently developed and operated by Dr. Laura L. Trevino; it is not a service of any university. As administrator, Dr. Trevino can view what you enter into or generate through WINK, including uploads, questions, AI responses, deadlines, practice activity, and grade-calculator information.
Using My WINK is optional. Using it, not using it, or deleting your account has no effect on your grades or your standing in any course.
This information is used to run WINK, to find and fix problems and improve it, and to demonstrate how WINK is used (for example, to universities, funders, or partners). Anything shared outside WINK is combined or de-identified so no individual student can be identified, and your conversations are never shared in a way that identifies you without your written permission.
WINK uses a few outside providers only to operate: Render (hosting), Anthropic (AI answers; it does not train on WINK data), Voyage AI (document search), and Amazon Web Services (email). Your information is never sold or used for advertising.
As a Beta user, you agree to help improve My WINK by rating WINK's answers in the chat (thumbs up or thumbs down) and by reporting any problems with the program to lhall@elp.rr.com.
WINK is an assistance tool. You remain responsible for your own academic work, decisions, deadlines, and submissions, and for following your courses' academic integrity rules, including any rules about using AI. Verify important information using official course or university sources.
AI can make mistakes. WINK's responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or based on an incorrect reading of uploaded materials.
Upload only materials you are authorized to share. Do not upload passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, or other highly sensitive information.
You can delete your account at any time from your Dashboard. Your name and email are removed immediately and you can no longer sign in; your past activity is kept only in de-identified form, as Beta usage data.
